Tagines, Prunes and Dunes; Morocco! TANGIER

Tangier (3rd May)

We arrived into a lovely and warm Tangier in the late afternoon and even though we were only here for a short time, still had time to wander along the promenade and look at the beautiful beach.

While wandering the promenade, a man was selling 'Caracoles' – or what we would refer to as snails from his ute!! It was pimped out into a kitchen/restaurant and was very eye catching and a great idea!

The port here is quite large, we took a ferry from here to Tarifa (Spain) and found that the ferries are very regular, affordable and only take 35 minutes (providing they leave on time – ours left 45 minutes late...)

The ferries are very modern and comfortable, with a lovely spacious layout and large windows to catch the beautiful views throughout the journey.
