India - our Rajasthani adventure! JODPHUR

Jodphur (16th March)

The famous Mehrangarh fort in Jodphur was a very impressive fort with a great museum with loads of information. The steeply built fort makes for beautiful views over the gorgeous blue city.

It was in Jodphur we had one of the best Thali's – beautiful warming curries, cooling  and thick curd, chapati, pappadum and a sweet treat makes Thali's a very satisfying meal.

We purchased our brightly coloured powders for our Holi celebration here, and prepared them into bags to share with everyone.

Colourful Holi powders
We were even lucky enough to share the night before holi ceremony with the family of the hotel, which was really interesting and spiritual. Of course – some powders had to be used on this night!!
